"Remember, this fix is only temporary, unless it works."
"Some men look at a problem like this and try to find a solution.
I prefer to figure out whose fault it is and let them take care of it."

"Effectively and magnificently spoofs the male ego"—The Detroit News

Silver Spring, MD — The Red Green Show: The Infantile Years, the complete first three seasons (1991 – 1993) of the crowd-pleasing Canadian comedy and PBS hit, debuts on DVD from Acorn Media on January 26, 2010. Acorn Media goes back to where the madness all began with The Infantile Years. Red and the gang are in their youth prime early middle age and full of half-baked ideas, crazy contraptions, and unintended consequences. From exotic dancers to whittling contests, salmon parades to car pools, this 9-volume boxed set includes all 72 classic episodes from Seasons 1 - 3 and more laughs than you can shake a hockey stick at ($99.99, www.AcornOnline.com).

Creator and star Steve Smith features north-of-the-border handyman humor in the vein of Home Improvement, which also debuted on television in 1991. Armed with power tools, off-kilter advice, and preposterous inventions, Red Green and his pals from Possum Lodge amassed a giant fan base during the show’s 15-year run, which ended in April 2006 with exactly 300 episodes. A Canadian comedy institution still running in syndication, the series has spawned a feature film, specials, books, and a cult-like following.

These 72 episodes introduce series regulars Ranger Gord, Bill Smith, Hap Shaughnessy, Red’s beleaguered but beloved nephew, Harold, and Red’s passion for duct tape. So join Red, Harold, and all the guys at Possum Lodge for their first three years of doing what men do when women aren’t around—and some things that are even worse.

Acorn Media previously released the 1997-2001 individual season DVD collections as well as several specials.
