SILVER SPRING, MD; May 12, 2008 —Acacia announces the July 15, 2008 DVD release of Hoopnotica®: Hoopdance Basics (Beginner Level 1) and Hoopnotica®: Hoopdance Workout (Beginner Level 2), these companion DVDs feature step-by-step instruction and a workout of a childhood favorite returning as a fun, fat-blasting cardio and muscle-sculpting workout.

Discover the latest exercise phenomenon, hoopdance, an energizing and effective workout that’s endlessly creative and incredibly sexy. It blends the fun of Hula-Hooping, the sensuality of belly dance, and the urban energy of hip-hop to form a truly unique, liberating way to lose fat, pounds, and inches. Hoopnotica®: Hoopdance Basics (Beginner Level 1) offers a great introduction to the basic techniques of hoopdancing: waist hooping, moving around in the hoop, hip hooping, halos, passing and floating, basic corkscrews, combinations, and a dance demonstration. Approx. 51 min.

Hoopnotica®: Hoopdance Workout (Beginner Level 2) includes a 20-minute workout with some fun, body-sculpting moves that target your thighs, torso, and shoulders. The more advanced moves enable personal creativity, with additional corkscrews, chest hooping, neck and shoulder hooping, waist to shoulder transition, angles, thigh hooping, and dancing in the hoop. Approx. 69 min.

Hoopnotica, Inc. previously self-distributed shorter versions of these DVDs under the titles Hoopnotic Hoopdance Beginner Level 1 and Beginning Level 2. Acacia added several new features to its release. Hoopdance Basics has a new eight-minute section called “Combinations,” as well as a dance demonstration, testimonials, and “Getting Started” section. Hoopdance Workout has a new 20-minute workout.
