Acorn Direct is seeking a dynamic person to provide leadership, strategic thinking, and financial oversight as PRESIDENT for the direct-to-consumer division of a growing, international B2B & B2C media/direct marketing business. The president will oversee all aspects of Acorn Direct, a multi-title catalog operation offering high quality media and complementary products to discerning consumers and manages its growth & financial success. Good judgment, a strong operational focus combined with flexibility, a love of collaboration, and emotional intelligence are all must-haves. - Excellent computer & networking skills including excellent command of SQL, SQL Server, Queries, Commands, Tables, and database optimization;
- Specific experience with various sized and multiple SQL databases;
- Fundamental or academic knowledge of VB, VB.NET, Sharepoint, IIS, ASP;
- Superior verbal and written communication skills, including listening;
- Great interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence - can easily build rapport, talk with non-technical staff members, and comfortably adapt to change;
- Superior analytical abilities combined with great problem-solving; and

Seeking an enthusiastic, energetic person to develop and implement a strategic online marketing plan to generate consumer traffic, sales and build our brand. Position includes a specific focus on our Acacia media line which targets the mind / body and fitness markets.
The Web Marketing Assistant has the following duties & responsibilities including, and are not limited to:
- Online outreach marketing campaigns including social networking, viral marketing, search engine marketing, publicity, linking and email campaigns, banner advertising, and other creative methods;
- Collaborate with direct-to-consumer division to cross promote talent and merchandise on the company’s retail websites through talent pages, review and rating systems, and other creative methods;
- Optimize company’s wholesale website to maximize appeal, performance, ease of use;
- Track all online marketing efforts and website activity and adjust plans according to results;
- Communicate and coordinate all campaigns with others.
- Work with creative team to ensure appropriate, effective, consistant, and appealing designs for advertisements, websites and other marketing pieces.
We seek someone with a B.A or B.S., preferably in a marketing-related field, with a min of 0 to 2 years experience in an e-commerce or internet marketing position. You must have excellent written and oral communications skills, including listening skills, a collaborative approach, and superb organizational skills combined with meticulous attention to detail. Interest in the mind/body & fitness marketplaces necessary.
