ACORN DIRECT
Launched in 2001, this division of the company is a direct-to-consumer outlet for Acorn Media U.S. home video releases and other high-quality merchandise. With a mission to provide exceptional entertainment, imaginative gifts, and uncommon quality, Acorn Direct markets to consumers via two print catalogs. The Acorn catalog (www.acornonline.com) focuses on British television, specialty programming and other distinctive merchandise, while the Acacia catalog (www.acaciacatalog.com) merchandises products for the body, mind, and home including Acorn Media’s line of health & wellness programming. In 2007 Acorn Direct plans to mail over 19 million catalogs.
